New Delhi: The new revelations of the liquor scam every day have put another stain on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is on the back foot. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan after raiding 5 locations, including his residence. During the ACB raid, Rs 24 lakh cash and 2 unlicensed weapons were recovered from a hideout.

Actually, the ACB is investigating the rigging in recruitment in the Delhi Waqf Board. The ACB had summoned Khan on Thursday for questioning in a corruption case. Let me tell you that khan has many cases registered against him in Delhi, due to which the Delhi Police has also declared this Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA as a bad character. One proof of this is that even during today's raid, Khan's family and relatives have attacked the ACP team. According to police, Amanatullah Khan has obstructed government work several times. At present, the action taken against him has been taken in connection with a two-year-old corruption case. Khan, an MLA from the Okhla constituency, was called for questioning at 12 noon on Friday in connection with a case registered in 2020 under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Let me tell you that the continuous arrests of Aam Aadmi Party leaders are raising serious questions about the party and the party's founder and convener Arvind Kejriwal. These questions become even more important because the leaders of the party which was born out of the anti-corruption movement, the leader who became the Chief Minister by vowing to eradicate corruption and change politics, are constantly getting caught in corruption cases. Kejriwal himself used to say that a leader who is accused of corruption should resign from his post and prove his innocence in the first investigation. But Health Minister Satyendar Jain, for whom Kejriwal had sought Padma Vibhushan, has been in jail for the last 4 months in a corruption case, but CM Kejriwal is not relieving him from the post. Jain has even said in the ED's interrogation that his memory has been lost and he does not remember anything. At the same time, Kejriwal's deputy Manish Sisodia himself is badly trapped in the liquor scam, and by withdrawing its excise policy, the Delhi government itself has opened the way for suspicion. Now the arrest of Amanatullah Khan has given a big blow to Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal himself is praising his leaders fiercely, but he is not able to give any concrete evidence in his defence. This is also one of the reasons that are questioning the honesty of the Aam Aadmi Party and the intention of Arvind Kejriwal. Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal should prove his leaders innocent in the court and give a befitting reply to the opposition party, if they are not able to do so, then it will send only one message to the public and that is that Arvind Kejriwal himself has given protection to the corrupt.
