Shalin Bhanot recently received intense trolling for his comment regarding Soundarya Sharma's inner wear from online users. Now that Shalin's comments have been addressed, actress Rutuja Sawant, who currently portrays Shikha in the supernatural television series Pishachini, has responded.

Shalin mentioned a joke that is below the belt to Tina and Soundarya, explaining that it is for the uninitiated. To tell the joke, Tina coerced him. Then Shalin claims he has always liked this brand. Soundarya initially took it as a joke, but later admitted to Gautam, "I didn't realise I had worn Calvin Klein, but Shalin noticed it and said, I have a joke for you, but only if you can hear, Tina pushed him to say, and he spoke about it." After hearing this, Gautam asked Soundarya to decide.

In response to the same well-known television actress, Rutuja claims: "I believe Shalin was wrong to comment on Soundarya's undergarments. I'm not sure what's wrong with him. Perhaps he has forgotten that he is seen on television all over the country. Shalin must seriously alter his perspective. I don't know what he had in mind when he said it, but it is completely unacceptable to make such comments about a girl's clothing on national television."

Rutuja adds further, "It's time for Soundarya to speak up and tell Shalin not to say things like this ever again. Shalin definitely needs to take some manners lessons if he thinks that making fun of someone's undergarments is funny."

Shalin's remark about Soundarya was also disapproved of by online users, who attacked him in tweets.

Rutuja is renowned for playing Mansi in Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali, and she was later seen in Choti Sardarni.
