The number of patients between lockdown and corona infection is increasing rapidly. The investigation has been intensified to detect coronavirus patients. The number of RT-PCR probes to detect Covid-19 in India crossed 10 million on Saturday.

Regarding the matter, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) officials said that 10.40 lakh investigations have been done till Saturday evening. 73,709 of these checks have been done from 9 am Friday to Saturday evening. As of 31 March, 47,852 samples were tested, while by 30 April their number had increased to 9,02,654. A total of 1,37,346 samples have been examined from May 1 to Saturday evening.

Now RT-PCR test facility is available in 292 government labs and 97 private labs across the country. Officials said that the ICMR has now reached the capacity to conduct 70 thousand tests per day.
