Bhopal: Corona continues to wreak havoc in the capital of Madhya Pradesh. But in Unlock 1, orders have been received to open the doors of temples. Except for Containment areas in the city, all religious places have opened. In the temples, devotees are only allowed to have darshan. From incense sticks to offerings, flowers are prohibited. It is also forbidden to sit, stand and talk in temple. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan also reached Karunadham temple at 11 am.

However, before this, all religious places in Madhya Pradesh were opened from 8 June. But due to infection, they were kept closed till Sunday in Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan reached the temple around 11 am in Karunadham temple. For the first time in the city, the second gate was opened in the Laxminarayan temple on normal days. This is so that people do not come in contact with each other. It is usually opened only on special festivals or festivals.

Devotees are being used to get out of the temple from the gate that opens on normal days. On a normal day from the opening of the temple, till 10 am, 150 to 200 devotees visit daily, but on Monday, this number has been only 10 to 12. Security guards have been deployed at all the gates in the temple. They instruct devotees to put on masks and sanitize hands before entering the temple.
