Samastipur: A woman in Bihar's Samastipur found it difficult to oppose her husband's illicit affair. The husband killed his wife and hung the body from the electric tower. In this incident, the police arrested the accused husband and sent him to jail. The case pertains to a village under the Musarighari police station area where the body of a bride was found hanging from an electric tower. People reported it to the police. The police have sent the body for postmortem. During the investigation, it came to light that the deceased was the first wife of the criminal. Her husband had an illicit relationship with some women as well as had a second marriage. She often opposed it.
Whenever the woman questioned the criminal's illicit relationship, a quarrel started between the two. He was always beating her up. One day the argument became more heated and the criminal took the woman's life. It is suspected that the convicted husband killed the first wife and hanged her from an electric tower at some distance from the house to hide the evidence.
The villagers informed the police on Monday morning when they saw the woman's body hanging. Police, who rushed to the spot, sent the body for postmortem and started an investigation. Since the incident, the family members have been crying badly. In this incident, the son of the deceased has lodged an FIR against his own father at Musarighari police station for killing her. The son says his father was having an illicit relationship with another woman. His mother often protested. Due to this, his father killed his mother and hung the body from the electric tower. Musrighari SHO Pankaj Kumar said the son had lodged an FIR against his father. The father of the accused has been arrested and sent to jail.
