Raipur: When former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi arrived in a ceremony organized at the Science College ground in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, then CM Bhupesh Baghel gave presents to the sisters who were performing aarti, and Rahul Gandhi kept seeing his style. It happened that as soon as Rahul Gandhi reached the Science College ground in Raipur, their sisters performed his aarti. The same Rahul Gandhi praised the Girdal Para Hydro Power Based Pumping Scheme Irrigation Project in Sukma district of Bastar zone. Its model has been displayed in the Dome of the Development Exhibition by the Department of Water Resources. Irrigation is done here 24 hours without electricity and without other fuel. Hundreds of food donors are getting benefited by this. CM Bhupesh Baghel, Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey also observed this model.

MP Rahul Gandhi visited the processing units of Kodo, Kutki and Ragi as he visited the stalls of the exhibition. CM Bhupesh Baghel told Gandhi that Millet Mission has been started to promote millet crops in Chhattisgarh, under which Kodo, Kutki and Ragi are being purchased from the producers of these crops at the support price. He also said that small processing units and packaging units are being set up in the villages producing millets. Arrangements have been made by the experts to provide technical guidance as well as good seeds for millet production. For this MoU has been signed between India Institute of Millet Research Hyderabad and 14 millet producing districts of the state. MP Rahul Gandhi praised the Millet Mission of Chhattisgarh.
