Ranchi: Amidst the ongoing political turmoil in Jharkhand, state CM Hemant Soren is going to appear before the ED for questioning today. Amidst the fears of CM Soren's arrest, his wife Kalpana Soren is being speculated to become the CM. Hemant Soren is the leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and till now ED has issued summons in his name 10 times. Summons were issued one after the other, but till now Soren and ED have come face to face only once. Today will be the second time that Soren is going to appear before the ED.

The news about Hemant Soren going missing is also spreading rapidly. Later it came to light that he had gone to Delhi after traveling 1300 kilometers by road for some personal work. Yesterday he was seen in Ranchi where he was seen holding a meeting with the MLAs of his government. It was said that Hemant Soren traveled 1300 kilometers by road so that he could deceive the ED officials who were already guarding his house and the airport.

Events of last two days: When Hemant Soren was not found even in his Ranchi house and news has come that he has gone to Delhi. ED officials also investigated his house in South Delhi. Soren was not found there either but the investigating officers seized Rs 36 lakh and one BNW from here. BMWA is said to be from Haryana. When CM Soren reached Ranchi early yesterday morning, he held a meeting with the MLAs at the CM residence itself. Soren's wife Kalpana Soren was seen in this meeting.

 It has been said in the media reports that Hemant Soren had gone to Delhi to seek legal advice, where Soren has been told that if he has appeared before the ED and has also sent a reply to them on time, then this is how the ED will treat him. There is no point in investigating the house. Today, everyone's eyes are going to be on how the CM's interrogation with ED is conducted, for how many hours it lasts and what Soren's reaction is to it.
