The first teaser of one of the most awaited movies of the year, South Star Prabhas starring Adipurush was recently released but it was welcomed with more negative views than positive views as some people are very disappointed with Saif Ali Khan’s look as Ravana and some are very disappointed with the VFX of the film. The teaser received harsh criticism due to which the makers has delayed Adipurush release.
After the harsh criticism some reports it indicated that Adipurush was slated to open in theatres on January 12, 2023, in honour of Sankranti. It indicates that the Prabhas-starrer is probably going to get delayed much further. A renowned trade analyst, remarked on Twitter, “In another trade rumour / buzz ... #Adipurush is being reworked..specially the effects & CG work...so it may not also not release in Summer 2023 ... additionally it may now cost ₹80~100crs more !!!!! #Prabhas.”
The maker of Adipurush on the postpone of the film. In August 2023, if everything goes according to plan, the movie might be released. They are also planning to do some major changes in the film’s VFX to avoid further criticism as the movie is made up of a whopping amount.
Adipurush is a multilingual saga based on an Indian Hindu mythological epic, Ramayana. Adipurush cast includes Kriti Sanon, Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh in the lead role. Prabhas plays the Hindu god Lord Ram and Saif Ali Khan will play Lankesh. ‘Adipurush’ is set to hit theatres on January 12, 2023.
