New Delhi: The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine is being reported from the diplomatic corridors. PM Narendra Modi has just had a long discussion with the Russian President on the Ukraine crisis. This is the second dialogue between the two heads of state on the Ukraine crisis. PM Modi has held talks with President Putin for 50 minutes. PM Modi has requested President Putin to hold direct talks with Ukrainian President Zelensky. In this conversation, President Putin has assured to cooperate in the safe evacuation of Indian nationals from the Ukrainian city of Sumi. 

PM Modi praised President Putin for the announcement of a ceasefire by Russia, which he had earlier spoken to Ukrainian President Zelensky. According to information provided by top sources in the government, amid the Russo-Ukraine war, PM Narendra Modi has spoken to Ukrainian President Zelensky for a long time this morning. The two heads of state had a phone conversation for about 11.30 pm for 35 minutes.  

PM Modi and President Zelensky discussed the situation of the war that arose in Ukraine and brainstormed on its different dimensions. According to information received from sources, PM Modi appreciated the ongoing direct talks between Russia and Ukraine and thanked President Zelensky for the assistance given by the Ukrainian government in evacuating Indian nationals from Ukraine.
