There is only a short time left for Ganesh Chaturthi. This time this festival is going to be celebrated from 22 August. This festival is for 10 days. In this case, due to the corona, this festival has become a little dull. The cases of corona in Maharashtra are increasing rapidly, keeping this in mind, a sculptor from Ghatkopar in Mumbai has created such an idol of Bappa which will give a glimpse of devotees as well as sanitize. According to the information received recently, Nitin Ramdas Chaudhary, an artist from Pranjal Arts Center, talked about this.

He said, 'He designs sculptures with new and interesting themes every year, and this year in view of COVID-19, he has created a sanitizing idol.' sculptor Ramdas Chaudhary also said, 'dispensers have been installed in the idol of Ganesh ji, under which hands the sanitizer will be sprayed.' According to him, 'Lord Ganesha solves all our problems, that's why I have used the sanitizer as an weapon inside the idol. It is a symbol that Lord Ganesha will remove this virus from us.'

Not only this, in view of every year, the demand for idols has come down this year, but people are seeing this type of idol for the first time, under which hand sanitizer will be sprayed, due to this, the interest of people has increased. Regarding this, the sculptor said, 'So far he has made 2-3 such sculptures, but he plans to make more sculptures as the booking of the idol continues.' He also said, 'Apart from sensors, various types of lights have also been installed in the idols which are remote operated.'
