The AIADMK's Puducherry chapter applauded the BJP’s victory in four of the five states that went to polls on Friday.
"The excellent performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party to maintain power in four states, including Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, proved that the people have accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership," stated Puducherry AIADMK (East Wing) Secretary A Anbalagan in a release. He expressed his congratulations to the BJP on their victory.
Before presenting the Budget for 2022-2023, the AIADMK leader suggested that Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy hold a joint meeting with representatives of the NDA's constituencies to hear their concerns.
Anbalagan stated that the previous Congress-DMK coalition government in Puducherry had only issued interim budgets every year since 2016, impeding the growth of the Union Territory.
