Lucknow: The bugle of the assembly elections has been sounded in Uttar Pradesh. Political parties have fielded their candidates as soon as the election dates are announced. Meanwhile, Jami, the candidate from Barabanki's Sadar assembly seat and the district president of AIMIM, has made serious allegations against his own party. He has accused Asaduddin Owaisi's party All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) of demanding money for tickets.

Jami has told that he was asked to give ticket from AIMIM and it was told that you should join the party, you will be made district president and ticket will also be given. Kunwar Jami said that AIMIM state president Shaukat Ali demanded Rs 20 lakh in return for giving him the ticket. He also has proof of this.

Kunwar Jami further said that he refused to give the money. Do not do politics by giving them money. He said that in view of the vision of AIMIM, he had taken the membership of the party. But now it seems that AIMIM has struck a deal with the Samajwadi Party. He said that the party is dealing with the feelings of Muslims.
