Dehradun: India's National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval reached his native village Pauri. Ajit Doval arrived here on Saturday with his family. After reaching the ancestral village Gheedi, the villagers gave him a grand welcome. Ajit Doval has come here to offer traditional poojas. At about 8.30 a.m. on Saturday, he reached the Bal Kuwari Temple in his native village Of Gheedi.

During this time, when they walked about 100 metres from the road to the temple, the villagers greeted them with drums. The NSA joined the village's annual worship with his wife and eldest son. He worshipped the totem bal kuwari along with other family members for about an hour. After the pooja, he also met the villagers and visited them. He then left for Delhi.

Due to the individual programme, the information about his arrival at Pauri district headquarters was kept confidential. On arriving at Pauri on Friday evening, the NSA's Circuit House was attended by The Garhwal Commissioner Dr. He was received by BVRC Purushottam, District Magistrate, Endurance Singh Gabriel, Senior SP Dalip Singh Kunwar. Earlier, Ajit Doval had reached his village Gheedi on June 22 to attend the annual puja on June 22. The attachment to the mountain and the village only draws them here.
