Prayagraj: The Uddhav Thackeray government of Maharashtra is now being surrounded in the case of lynching of sadhus in Palghar after the CBI probe order was issued in the death of film actor Sushant Singh Rajput. In this case, the Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, the largest organization of saints, like the Bollywood actor, has put forward the demand of CBI to investigate the killing of two sadhus of Juna Akhara in Palghar.

Akhara Parishad head Mahant Narendra Giri said that the apex court ordered CBI inquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput case only on the ground that the Maharashtra police is accused of facts distortion. According to him, the Uddhav Thackeray government of Maharashtra and the police there have lobbied in the same manner in the murder of sadhus in Palghar.

Sadhus had no faith in the government of Maharashtra before. After the daub in the Sushant case, there is no faith at all now. In such a situation, the CBI investigation, in this case, has become extremely necessary. Mahant Narendra Giri says that the Akhada Council will soon write a letter to PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah demanding a CBI inquiry into the matter.
