New Delhi: Not only the country but the preparations to hang Akshay, Vinay, Mukesh and Pawan around the four poor Nirbhaya imprisoned in South Asia's safest Tihar jail are at a peak. These four convicts will have no other option but to send a curative petition and mercy petition to the President. After the petition is rejected from both sides, all the four convicts will be hanged in Tihar Jail.

This will be the first time during the hanging of Nirbhaya convicts when 4 convicts will be hanged together in Tihar Jail. Earlier in 1982, Ranga-Billa was hanged together. Both were hanged on the same plank. According to Tihar Jail sources, a single plank has been prepared to hang the four convicts Vinay, Mukesh, Pawan, and Akshay together. Earlier, arrangements were made to hang only two people here. The Tihar jail administration has increased the length of the throne and on Monday, the PWD has completed this work. This plate has been prepared in Tihar jail number three.

After hanging in jail, there should be a sufficient amount of depth below it, so that the body can be removed. In such a situation, the help of JCB has also been taken to make a deep pit here. The four convicts will have to enter curative petitions as soon as the apex court opens after the holidays. In fact, in the last hearing, the court had dismissed the plea of a convict Akshay and asked him to file a curative petition within three weeks.
