Lucknow: The Allahabad High Court has given a big relief to perfume businessman Piyush Jain. The court has granted bail to Piyush Jain in the case of about Rs 200 crore cash found from his premises. Earlier, the court had granted bail to Jain in connection with the recovery of 23 kg of gold. In such a situation, it is believed that now businessman Piyush Jain will be released from jail.   

Jain was earlier granted bail by the Allahabad High Court on July 28 on a surety of Rs 1 crore in the gold recovery case. On the night of December 23, 2021, the DDGI team of Ahmedabad raided the residence of perfume businessman Piyush Jain, from where 197 crore cash was recovered after several days of search. 23 kg of gold was also recovered from Piyush's Kannauj residence. On December 27, the DDGI put Piyush in jail.  

After going to jail, the DRI of Lucknow had registered an FIR on its behalf by claiming 23 kg of gold recovered from Piyush's Kannauj house as foreign. Since then, Piyush has been lodged in Kanpur jail. He was facing cases of DDGI and DRI. Piyush's family was arguing in court through big lawyers for his bail.
