New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh is often in the discussion about political rhetoric on Twitter. He made a tweet on Thursday about the incarcerated senior Congress leader P Chidambaram. In this tweet, Amar Singh has taunted him on the pretext of sympathizing with Chidambaram - history repeats itself.

In this tweet made on the evening of 19 September, Amar Singh wrote, 'For the first time I feel deep sympathy for my old acquaintance P Chidambaram. Even after saving his government just after his kidney transplant, he sent me to jail and I slept on the same floor without a pillow. Today history is repeating itself. P. Chidambaram, how do you feel? It is noteworthy that at present, former Finance Minister P Chidambaram is accused in the corruption case and is lodged in Tihar Jail.

Amar Singh has also been sharing videos of allegations on Chidambaram earlier. In one such video, Amar Singh claimed from the hospital bed that P. Chidambaram, who was caught in the corruption case, had arbitrarily distributed money to several companies as finance minister in the UPA government. Amar also claimed that all corporate stalwarts including Videocon's Venugopal Dhoot and Anil Ambani of Reliance, as well as Bhushan Steel, Dewan Housing, got loans while Chidambaram was the finance minister.
