New Delhi: Farmers protesting against the agriculture laws of the central government have come close to Delhi. In such a situation, you would know that the Delhi Police was preparing to put the farmers in temporary jails, but the Delhi government has categorically denied this. At this time, Delhi Metro has closed the entry-exit gates of 6 stations and now in the meantime, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has given a new statement. Recently, in his statement, he has requested the central government to negotiate with the farmer unions as soon as possible to reduce the tension on the Delhi border.

Let us also tell all of you that the Central Government has fixed December 3 for talks. In such a situation today, on Friday, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has urged the Center to immediately initiate dialogue with the farmers unions to prevent the stressful situation arising out of efforts to forcibly stop the farmers in Haryana. Apart from this, he has also questioned that, 'the voice of dissidents cannot be suppressed forever. Why wait till December 3 to handle the situation? The Center should immediately start a dialogue with the leaders of the Kisan Sangh to avoid a tense situation on the Delhi borders.

Let us tell you all that the Chief Minister has also opposed the Haryana government to seal the boundaries and forcibly stop the farmers there. He says, 'The farmers are agitating in a peaceful manner and during their protests in the last three months they have not created any kind of violence, which has created any law and order problem. The Indian government needs to take immediate steps to end the atrocities on farmers who are demonstrating peacefully.
