Washington: Tensions continue between the US and China over the Coronavirus epidemic. Amid this tension, the Trump administration had announced a ban on all flights coming from China, which was to come into effect from 16 June. However, now the US administration has taken Uteron from its decision and asked to relax the operation of Chinese aircraft.
On Friday, the Trump administration said that now in the US, Chinese airlines will be allowed to operate flights in limited numbers. The latest decision by the US administration has come to light after China relaxed the restrictions imposed on Corona and allowed to operate a large number of foreign aircraft. These restrictions closed the way for American Airlines United and Delta to resume operations of commercial aircraft between the US and China. The US Transport Department said that Chinese passenger airlines would be allowed to fly two round-trips per week between the US and China. The number of them will be as much as China will allow to operate American commercial aircraft.
So far, four Chinese Airlines flights fly between the US and China. At the same time, flights of United Airlines, Delta Airlines and American Airlines of America are completely closed due to Coronavirus. United Airlines and Delta Airlines again sought permission from China to operate the flights again this month.
