Srinagar: US MP George Holding has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for removing Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. The US lawmaker said on Thursday that it was a good decision to maintain long-term stability in the region and should be praised. George Holding, MP from the Second Congressional District of North Carolina, said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir feel better and there is a need for peace and stability in the area.

He said, "We saw that the Parliament of India removed the provisions which were hindering the economic development of the state. Kashmir was governed by Article 370, which was an outdated law. The people of Jammu and Kashmir deserve better and PM Narendra Modi took the right decision. "

Apart from this, George Holding also attacked Pakistan. He has said that "Pakistan-based terrorist organizations have put up posters to warn people. These terrorist organizations are spreading terrorism from across the border and attacking ordinary people and children." He also said that recently the terrorists had targeted the migrant laborers.
