"Karnataka govt of Siddaramaiah is the ATM of corruption ", says Amit Shah

BJP chief Amit Shah has ruled out any coalition for upcoming Karnataka Assabllly polls, as saying the saffron party will contest on all seats and form a majority government on its own.

"We are going to fight on every seat and will make the government on our own. No alliance with anyone. Triangular fight on some seats but BJP in fight everywhere. Congress is doing politics on minority status to Lingayats. They ran the government for five years, why they didn't do it when they formed the government? Why wait for four-and-a-half years? This is a ploy to divide Lingayat votes," said Amit Shah.

"Karnataka govt of Siddaramaiah is the ATM of corruption for the Congress", says BJP President Amit Shah as he addressed media in Mysuru.

BJP president Amit Shah on Friday said he anticipated Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the JD(S) to get the "biggest shock of their lives" from the old Mysuru region in the Karnataka Assembly polls on May 12, though his party was "a bit weak" there.

"It is said that the BJP is a bit weak here (Old Mysuru region), but after seeing the work of the party workers, I expect Siddaramaiahji and the JD(S) to get the biggest shock of their lives from this (Old) Mysuru region," he said while addressing the BJP’s "Nava Shakti Samavesha" rally in Mysore.

This is the second of his visit to Mysore, the home district of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Day 1 of Shah’s Mysore campaign was marked by protests by Dalit groups against Union Minister Ananthkumar Hedge’s comments. The critical attack on a Dalit man in BJP-ruled Gujarat has also given the Congress more bombs to hurl against the saffron party, with Siddaramaiah tweeting that "Kannadigas will not make the mistake of trusting the Shah of lies".

The Congress and BJP have also filed the complaint to the Election Commission, accusing to each other of violating the model code of conduct. The BJP has alleged that Siddaramaiah gave Rs 2,000 to a priest in a Mysuru temple, on the other hand, the Congress has accused Amit Shah of giving a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to the mother a murdered RSS worker.
