Mumbai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a two-day visit to Maharashtra from December 18. According to reports, during the visit, he will inaugurate the new building of The Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) in Pune and interact with national disaster response force (NDRF) personnel. Home Minister Amit Shah will also attend the convocation of Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management in Pune and the national award ceremony of the Indian Institute of Company Secretaries (ICSI) in Mumbai during his visit. Talking about this, officials said that on December 18, the Home Minister will visit the Shirdi temple in Ahmednagar.

Apart from attending the ICSI function in Amit Shah Mahanagar, Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil will confer the Sahitya Puraskar at a function in Loni. After that, on December 19, Amit Shah will inaugurate the new BUILDING of CFSL in Pune and have lunch with NDRF personnel. In the afternoon, he will attend the convocation of Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management and lay the foundation stone of the statue of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji in Pune Municipal Corporation. Briefing reporters in New Delhi, officials said, the Home Minister will also meet BJP workers in Pune in the evening and then visit the residence of noted historian Babasaheb Purandare, who passed away last month. Earlier last Friday, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah highlighted the importance of cooperative contribution to the development of the country and said, "No one will be able to treat cooperatives as secondary. '

In fact, in his address after inaugurating the 7th National Convention of Sahakar Bharati, Amit Shah had said, "I assure you that no one will be able to treat cooperatives like second-grade citizens .' He also said, "The overall development of every country cannot be through communist principles, cooperatives are a big medium and this model has to be carried forward. In the coming days, cooperatives are going to contribute a lot to the development of the country and cooperatives are the only means that can increase and respect the income of the smallest person.
