'No one can challenge Indian borders', says Amit Shah at BSF Foundation Day function

The BSF is celebrating its 57th Raising Day today i.e. A special programme was organized at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan today in which Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated. The parade was held today and Amit Shah took salute and gave medals. Speaking on the occasion, Amit Shah said, "Today is the 57th raising day of BSF. For the first time since its inception, it has been decided to celebrate the foundation day of BSF in the district of the border of the country today. This tradition should continue. The foundation day is being celebrated during the Amrit Mahotsav period of Independence. '

The Home Minister further said, "More than 35,000 jawans of police forces, BSF and CAPFs across the country have sacrificed their lives at different places. It is at the forefront of bsf. I pay homage to all the brave soldiers who have made the supreme sacrifice on behalf of the Prime Minister and the country. '

At the same time, he said, "The Prime Minister has always been sensitive to the borders. The Modi government has provided full health cover to the families of the armed forces under which family members can easily avail it through a card. Since 2014, the security of the country's borders has been taken seriously by the Government of India. Wherever there was an attempt to encroach on the border, we have retaliated immediately. India has conveyed the message that no one can take our border and our jawans lightly.'
