Bangalore: The news of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's two-day visit to Bengaluru has triggered a stir in the state's BJP unit. A section of leaders is trying to meet the Home Minister to discuss party matters with him. It is being said that the Karnataka BJP was unsure about home minister Amit Shah's visit. But now there is speculation that he may participate through video conferencing in the government's Sankalp Se Siddhi programme at Taj West End on Thursday morning.

Home Minister Amit Shah's office released the schedule of his visit late in the evening. Shah will arrive at the hotel on Wednesday night and attend the event the next morning. After this, he will leave for Delhi in the afternoon on the same day. Amit Shah's 90-minute official programme will begin at 11 am. In such a situation, it is expected that he will have some time in the morning to meet some important leaders and discuss the latest political situation in the state.

Amit Shah's visit comes amid the ongoing investigation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in coastal Dakshina Kannada district into the recent murder of Yuva Morcha functionary Praveen Nettaru. Amit Shah may also address the media on the issue. Let me tell you that this incident has increased the trouble of the BJP of the state. A section of Yuva Morcha workers has revolted. They have demanded the resignation of state Home Minister Araga Gyanendra and CM Basavaraj Bommai.
