New Delhi: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah is gearing up for a packed schedule during his visit to Karnataka tomorrow, which includes a roadshow among other engagements.

Shah will kick off his day by addressing the Sakti Kendra Pramukh Sammelan at Palace Ground in Bengaluru in the morning. The event aims to strengthen grassroots leadership and organizational capabilities ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Following this, Shah will chair a Core Group Meeting of the BJP in Bengaluru to discuss important policy matters and strategies for the region.

Later in the day, Shah will lead a roadshow from Chikkamalur to DT Ramu Circle, Channapatna in Ramanagara, Karnataka, interacting with citizens and showcasing government initiatives.

The visit of the Union Minister underscores the political significance of Karnataka and reflects the government's dedication to the state's development and welfare.

In the upcoming elections, the BJP has nominated candidates in 25 Lok Sabha constituencies and has left three seats for its ally JD (S) in the State.

Among the notable contests, JD(S) patriarch and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda's son-in-law, C N Manjunath, will face off against three-time MP and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar's brother, D K Suresh, in the Bengaluru Rural constituency.

The general elections in Karnataka will be held in two phases on April 26 and May 7 for its 28 constituencies.
