Amit Nath Hazra alias Bablu Da, who has been playing an important role in making the metropolis green for the last four decades, has set another example. Despite spending days in poverty, he has donated 5000 rupees to the PM Cares Fund set up to help in the Corona tragedy. Amit Nath, who lives in a small house in Sudhir Chatterjee Street in Shyampukur area of North Kolkata, said, "If one person does not work for another person in this time of trouble, how will humanity survive? We should all donate to the Government Relief Fund according to our economic capacity.

64-year-old Amit Nath works in a private institution in Howrah. Monthly salary is very low. With this, his family also runs and after saving some money, buy saplings from them and plant them at various places in Kolkata. The office is currently closed due to the lockdown. Amit Nath has a small family. There is a wife and younger brother in the house. Amit 1979 has been planting roadside saplings in Kolkata since 1979.
