Amrit Udyan, Delhi  to Welcome Visitors from February 2

NEW DELHI: The famous Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan will open its gates to the public from February 2 to March 30, as announced by the President’s Secretariat on Tuesday, (January 21, 2025). The beautiful gardens will be open for visitors to explore six days a week, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Mondays set aside for maintenance. 

However, the garden will be closed on February 5 for the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections, February 20 and 21 for the Visitors’ Conference, and on March 14 for Holi celebrations.

All visitors are asked to enter and exit through Gate No. 35, located near North Avenue, within the President’s Estate. For added convenience, a shuttle bus service will operate every 30 minutes between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., connecting Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35.

February 22, 2024: Differently-abled persons

February 23, 2024: Defence and Paramilitary Forces & Police Personnel

March 1, 2024: Women and Tribal Women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs)

March 5, 2024: Children from Orphanages in and around Delhi NCR

Special days have been reserved for certain groups, including:

March 26, 2024: Differently-abled persons

March 27, 2024: Defence, Paramilitary, and Police personnel

March 28, 2024: Women and Tribal Women’s SHGs

March 29, 2024: Senior citizens

Entry to Amrit Udyan is free, and visitors can book their slots online or simply walk in. Slots can be reserved at https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in.

As part of the Amrit Udyan celebrations, Rashtrapati Bhavan will also host the Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav from March 6 to 9. This year’s festival will focus on the vibrant cultural heritage and unique traditions of Southern India.
