Visakhapatnam: A painful accident has occurred in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. Here, a tractor carrying 30 workers got hit by high tension pole. In this accident, 9 labourers died on the spot, while many others are said to be injured. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
After getting the information of the accident, local senior officials have reached the spot. The Governor of Andhra Pradesh has expressed grief over this accident. Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan was informed that the district administration has admitted the injured labourers to the hospital, where they are being treated. The Governor has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the members of bereaved families.
Earlier in three different accidents, many workers had died tragically. In the Guna of Madhya Pradesh, more than 60 labourers of the bus had fallen victim to the accident late Wednesday night. 8 workers lost their lives in this accident. In Uttar Pradesh, the bus crushed the workers, in which 6 have died. Two laborers have also died in an accident in Bihar.
