As in the case of Andhra Pradesh, 1 lakh testing kits have been sourced from South Korea, where Rs 700 has been paid for a kit. Whereas in the state of Tamil Nadu adjoining Andhra Pradesh, rapid testing kits have been supplied at a cheaper price. Tamil Nadu has paid 600 rupees for a kit.

On the other hand, the Chhattisgarh government has said that it is asking for testing kits from South Korea at a price of Rs 337 / kit (GST separately). Now the Andhra Pradesh government has called the case of different pricing of testing kits a 'campaign to discredit'. The Andhra Pradesh government has said in a statement that the state has purchased a kit for Rs 700. Right now its total is being calculated.
