Amaravati : Police in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district reported six persons were killed in two separate traffic incidents on Friday. Three people were killed and three others were badly injured after their car collided with a parked truck at Ulandikonda on the Bengaluru-Bengaluru route.

The victims were all members of the same family. The crash happened early in the morning, according to authorities.

Srinivasulu, Adilakshmi, and Bhagyalakshmi were recognised as the deceased. Kumar, Anjaneyulu, and Dharani, who were injured, were taken to a Kurnool hospital.  The Dharmavaram family was visiting Kurnool to see an unwell relative who was being treated in a hospital.

Two people were killed in another collision at Damagatla Cross Road when a car hit head-on with a private bus. A total of fifteen bus passengers were hurt.

A person was killed in the third accident when his motorcycle collided with a tree in Atmakur.
