Andhra Pradesh:  Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan of Andhra Pradesh was admitted to AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad on Wednesday after being diagnosed with COVID-19, according to his press secretary. The Governor was evaluated by a multidisciplinary team in the evening, according to a medical bulletin, and his condition was clinically stable with normal oxygen saturation at room air.

The Governor was diagnosed with mild COVID-19 based on CT results and a history of comorbidities. According to the bulletin, he is being closely followed by a team of professionals.

Harichandan suffered a mild sickness after returning from New Delhi last week, according to the Press Secretary. "An RT-PCR test was performed as a precaution because the Governor had a cough and cold," he explained. On November 15, the Governor was diagnosed with COVID-19. On Wednesday morning, he was flown to Hyderabad on a special flight and hospitalised to AIG Hospitals.
