Along with the photographs, she also shared a post about the efforts taken by the Guru Nanak Society and the Commando Force of Tamil Nadu Police in providing food to the frontline workers in five government hospitals in Chennai.
In the photographs, the actress is seen taking a round in the kitchen. She also shared photographs of people involved in cooking and packing food. The Guru Nanak society in association with the Commando Force of the TN Police, have taken up this lovely initiative of providing freshly cooked, hygienic meals to healthcare providers in the five main government hospitals of Chennai. I personally witnessed the cooking & packing of these meals. I cannot tell you how much this warmed my heart ❤️ (sic)." She also shared a letter from the Gruru Nanak Educational Society, appealing for generous contributions to carry out two initiatives - provide freshly prepared food to the frontline healthcare and paramedical staff of different government hospitals and set up a facility of 16 oxygen-fitted beds for COVID-19 patients.
