New Delhi: The top Court’s clean chit to the PM Modi led government over the Rafale deal has come as a breather for business tycoon Anil Ambani whose Reliance Defence was selected as an offset associate by Dassault in the Rafake fighter jet deal. Ambani welcoming the top court verdict issuing a press statement,  stated that the PILs were politically motivated and his organization remain to be committed to India’s national security.

Here what he said-

"I welcome the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court today summarily dismissing all PILs filed on the Rafale contracts, and conclusively establishing the complete falsity of the wild, baseless and politically motivated allegations levelled against Reliance Group and me personally.”

“We remain committed to India's national security and to making our humble contribution towards the Make in India and Skill India policies of the Government in the critical area of defence including our offset partnership agreement with our valued partner, Dassault Aviation of France.”

Worth mention here the Supreme Court today gave a clean chit to the PM Narendra Modi led government on the procurement of 36 Rafale fighter jets from France. The Top court noted there was no occasion to doubt the decision-making process in the multi-billion dollar Rafale deal.
