Lucknow: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) national president Om Prakash Rajbhar has suffered a major setback for the second time within a week. As many as 45 SBSP workers quit the party together on Wednesday (September 7, 2022). All the workers have resigned in support of former SBSP vice-president Mahendra Rajbhar, who left OP Rajbhar. The workers took the decision during a meeting held at Kopaganj in Mau.

Let me tell you that OP Rajbhar has suffered many major setbacks in the last one month. Earlier, national spokesperson Shashi Pratap Singh had quit the party along with several office-bearers. He also formed a new party. After this, the party's vice-president Mahendra Rajbhar, who seems to be the son of OP Rajbhar, resigned from the party and 45 of his supporters also resigned. Talking to the press in Mau after resigning, Mahendra Rajbhar had said that SBSP president Om Prakash Rajbhar is always engaged in efforts to get money.

He said, 'The party was founded 20 years ago on 27 October 2002 in the presence of everyone. The mission of the party at that time was the upliftment of the poor, downtrodden, labourers and underprivileged society.' He alleged that Omprakash Rajbhar has deviated from the mission of the party. He is by any means only engaged in earning money. The party was established for the upliftment of the society, but now it has deviated from its goal.
