Srinagar: Non-Muslims are constantly being targeted and targeted by Islamic terrorists in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The latest case has come to light from Anantnag district. A Hindu youth was shot dead by terrorists when he went to the market to buy milk here. This murder has been done by Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists on Monday (May 29). According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Deepu, a resident of Udhampur district of Jammu region, who earned his living by working in a circus and was showing circus in Janglat Mandi area. He was also given protection by the police. 

According to media reports, the police said that Deepu had gone to the local market to buy milk. Meanwhile, two bike-borne youths fired three bullets at him from close range at 8.30 pm. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The responsibility of this murder has been taken by a little-known organization Kashmir Freedom Fighter, which is associated with the banned Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. "Terrorists opened fire on a civilian named Deepu, a resident of Udhampur, who was working at a private circus fair at amusement park near Janglat Mandi in Anantnag. He was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries," he said.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference (NC) leader Omar Abdullah tweeted, "Saddened by the news of another target killing against a civilian in South Kashmir's Anantnag area. The murder of Deepak who worked to live honestly with a circus is despicable. I strongly condemn this terror attack. May Deepak's soul rest in peace."
