Another Rafale reached India, 35 out of 36 fighter planes reached India

New Delhi: Another consignment of Rafale fighter aircraft has reached India after traveling about eight thousand kilometers from France. According to the Indian Air Force, three more Rafale fighter aircraft have arrived in India from France. It has been informed by the Air Force that the Air Forces of France and United Arab Emirates (UAE) have provided fuel to the planes during the journey.

The Indian Air Force has informed by tweeting that after the arrival of these 3 more aircraft, there are now 35 Rafale aircraft in the Air Force fleet. India had signed an agreement with France for 36 Rafale fighter jets in September 2016. The 36th plane will reach India from France after a few days. IAF has directly landed more than 30 of these aircraft on Indian soil without stopping anywhere.

Let us inform that after the induction of Rafale fighter jets in the western and eastern theaters, India's combat capability has increased manifold. Let us tell you that these fighters are equipped with the longest-range air-to-air Meteor missile in the subcontinent, the air-to-surface Hammer missile and the SCALP missile.
