New Delhi: In the capital Delhi, the growing opposition of CAA and NRC is not taking the name of stop. Violence erupted again today in Jafrabad of Delhi over CAA and NRC. It is also being said that once again there was a clash between supporters and opponents on Monday afternoon. There is continuous firing from both sides. The protesters set three vehicles on fire. The situation has become very violent in Jafrabad. There is stone pelting from all around. The protesters are trying to set fire to many shops. During this time, there is also firing. In the demonstration, a young man was shot in the leg and a policeman.

Clashes continued in Maujpur: According to the information received, in Maujpur area too, on Monday i.e. 23 February 2020, for the second consecutive day, there was a clash between the supporters and opposition groups of CAA. During this, 15 people including two policemen were injured. At present, the police has blocked the way to Maujpur. Things are very stressful. The protesters pelted stones at each other, after which the police released tear gas shells to disperse them. The police also tried to pacify both sides.

Zafarabad and Maujpur-Babarpur metro stations closed: At the same time it is being said that Delhi Metro has closed the entry and exit gates of Zafarabad and Mojpur-Babarpur stations for security reasons. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) tweeted, "Entrance and exit gates of Jafrabad and Maujpur-Babarpur metro stations have been closed. Trains will not stop at these stations.
