For the polavaram project fund approval request, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited The Union Home Minister Amit Shah and kovid-19 pandemic and requested the release of pending grants to Andhra Pradesh as soon as possible.

Let us briefly share your information, let us see in brief, 14th FC Local Body Grants of Rs.2,253.52 crore pending for release to the State in grants, Polavaram Project Reimbursement Rs.4,006.43 crore, Development assistance to backward districts already made by Andhra Pradesh Government, Rs.700 crore, Revenue deficit sanction and balance for 2014-15 due to Rs.138.39 crore, PDS rice subsidy 2013-14 to 2016-17 (4 years) Capital City Development Grant Balance is Rs.1000 crore, MGNREGS total is 3740.53 crore sold.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister has requested and discussed many important issues. He requested the state government to transfer salt land salt land sown to the weaker sections and dovetail with the grant of houses under pradhan mantri awas yojana (PMAY). He requested the release of grant orders for land reconstructions and land surveys and modernization of funds. The Chief Minister also asked Union Minister Shekhawat to release funds in advance as per the national project's funding norms to reduce the burden on the funds of the state projects.
