The case of gang rape and murder with the female doctor of Hyderabad has  has sparked outrage across the nation. Now, famous filmmaker Aparna Sen has asked whether doing this will reduce such crimes. Sen made this statement after several Rajya Sabha MPs demanded death penalty, lynching and sterilization of the four accused in the case. 

 Sen took to Twitter and wrote, "The perpetrators of Dr. Reddy's rape & murder will probably will be hanged. The whole country is baying for their blood, and with due cause. It is the most horrific of crimes. But then what? There won't be any more rapes? The rate of rape will substantially decrease?"

For your information, let us tell you that on Facebook and Twitter, many people have publicly demanded to hang the accused in this case, to sterilize and to cut their private parts. But the boycott of the election has been demanded. 

The dead body of a young woman working as an assistant veterinarian in a government hospital in Hyderabad Was found under a bridge on 28 November. She went missing a day earlier. Four people were arrested in this case on 29 November. On Saturday, all these accused were sent to judicial custody for 14 days. The age of all the accused is between 20 and 24 years.
