Army recruitment rally under unit headquarters quota for Soldier Tech (AE), Soldier General Duty, Soldier Tradesman, Best Players (Open Category) will be held from January 18 to February 28, 2021.

A press release said that those under the best players (open category) will have to report for the sports trial at Thapar Stadium, Secunderabad on January 15, 2021 at 8 am. The best players representing boxing, football, volleyball, basketball, handball, hockey, swimming, wrestling, athletics and cubby can participate at senior or junior level with their national or international competition certificates. Certificate should not be more than two years on screening date.

Matriculation/ SSC, 33% of each subject and 45% total for Soldier GD. The qualification for the required education for The Soldier Tradesman (10th standard) is '10th pass (33 per cent) and the Soldier Tradesman (8th class) is '8th class pass'. Soldier Tech (AE) has 10 + 2 / Intermediate Pass in Science with (PCM & English) total marks of 50% and 40% in each subject. For Soldier Clk / SKT, it is a 10 + 2 / Intermediate pass in any stream, total marks of 60% and minimum 50% in each subject. 50% security in English, Maths/ Accounts/ Book is mandatory to be kept in 12th standard.
