Mumbai: Artium Academy, a leading online music learning and community platform, has got USD 3 million investment from Chiratae Ventures and others.

Anicut Capital, Jet Synthesis, Whiteboard Capital, Madhusudhan R (co-founder of M2P Finance), Priyamvada Balaji (executive director of Lucas Indian Service), Varun Alagh (co-founder of Mamaearth), Piyush Shah (co-founder of InMobi Group), and Vikas Dosala are other investors in the funding round (co-founder, Fraazo).

"We are pleased to have the backing of a reputable investor group headed by Chiratae Ventures. Vivek Raicha, co-founder of Artium Academy, said, "This fund will help us accelerate our plans to develop additional programmes and grow into newer regions.

Musicians like Sonu Nigam, KS Chithra, Shubha Mudgal, Aruna Sairam, Louis Banks, Gino Banks, Raju Singh, and Aneesh Pradhan have created and verified Artium's music courses. Ananth Vaidyanathan, a voice specialist, is Artium's head of pedagogy, the business announced in a statement.

"With our music tech platform, we want to make music education more engaging, participatory, and relevant so that users can travel the journey from student to performer to potential influencer. In order to promote effective learning and performance, we are developing AI-based assessment and prescription tools, according to Ashish Joshi, founder and CEO of Artium Academy.

In order to produce original musical content, Artium has a deal with Global Music Junction (GMJ) and Warner Music India.
