On Monday, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein of Arunachal Pradesh tested positive for Covid-19. Mein made the announcement on his official Twitter, urging everyone who came into touch with him to isolate themselves and undergo a COVID-19 test.
"I was tested for COVID by RAT today and confirmed to be positive. I'm having mild symptoms but am otherwise fine. I ask that anyone who has had contact with me in the last few days isolate themselves and get a Covid test "The Deputy Chief Minister sent out a tweet.
Pema Khandu, the Chief Minister, wished Mein a speedy recovery. "Get well soon @ChownaMeinBJP ji, our prayers are with you for speedy recovery." Khandu tweeted.
