Itanagar: Corona cases in Arunachal Pradesh continue to decline. The total number of infection cases in the state has increased to 34,932 after 165 new cases of infection were reported in the state. State Monitoring Officer (SSO) Dr L. Jampa reported on Sunday that no case of death due to infection has been reported in the last 24 hours and the number of corona deaths in the state remains at 167. The number of people recovering from corona in the state increased to 32,270 after 216 more people recovered the previous day.
Capital Complex sector has the highest number of 66 cases out of the new 165 cases, 16 in Changlang, 13 in Lower Subansiri, 11 in West Kameng, nine in Papumpara, 6-6 in Upper Subansiri, Lohit and East Siang, four each in Lower Dibang Valley and Anjo, Three each in Kamle, Kra Dadi, Twang and West Siang, Kurang Kumme, Tirup and east kameng and two more in Leparada One case each has been registered in Longding, Lower Siyang, Namsai, Pakke Kesang and Upper Siang districts.
The official said that out of the new 165 cases, 155 cases have been reported in rapid antigen tests, 8 in RT-PCR tests and two in 'truenate' tests. The state is currently undergoing treatment (active cases) of corona infection of 2,495 people. Dr. Zampa said that the recovery rate of patients in the state is 92.38 percent and that of Covid is 4.45 percent.
