Filmmaker, writer and actor Dayal Padmanabhan believes in quickly moving on from one project to another and ensuring that he tells as many stories as he can as a director. He has been making quite a film Kannada films over the past few years and also forayed into Telugu cinema with the remake of his critically acclaimed film Aa Karaala Ratri, which was released on a digital platform. He has now announced that he is all set to helm his second Telugu film, which is going to be backed by none other than the legendary Tollywood star Mohan Babu himself.
Dayal took to his social media pages to break this news. He wrote, "Hi .. Glad to break the news ???? ???? ???? After my successful Telugu Directorial debut thru ANAGANAGA O ATHITHI, I will be Directing my second Telugu film tentatively titled MARUTHI NAGAR POLICE STATION which is an action thriller for Mohan Babu garu productions. The shoot will be in Aug - Sep at Thirupathi in single schedule. Thanks for your support ???? ???? ???? ???? Cheers ???? ???? ????"
In Kannada, Dayal has his film Ombatthane Dikku that has been ready for a while and stars Loose Maada Yogi and Adithi Prabhudeva in the lead roles. The filmmaker is waiting for a suitable time to release this film in the cinema halls, which have been shut due to the pandemic across Karnataka. The filmmaker also has apparently written multiple scripts through the lockdown that he plans to make in Kannada soon.
