NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has released a report on Dialogue and Development Commission (DDC) to mark 7 years of its formation.
The Chief Minister referred to the DDC as the foundation for Delhi's growth. The DDC is the government of Delhi's think tank, which offers recommendations on how to "discover sustainable, people-centric solutions to the essential development concerns."
A thorough explanation of all the "puzzle pieces" that DDC has put together over the past seven years to help create a "modern, high-tech, progressive, wealthy, and egalitarian Delhi" is provided in the paper titled "7 Years of DDC - 70 Innovations Redefining Governance."
"DDC has worked incredibly hard over the past seven years to develop outstanding initiatives for the growth of Delhi. The success of the Delhi Government's programmes is largely attributable to DDC, whose specialists work locally to improve the lives of ordinary people. By working in three stages viz. Project Design, Monitoring, and Correction of Deficiencies. DDC bridges the gap between innovation and practise ", Kejriwal said while announcing the report.
In the past seven years, the DDC has undertaken over 70 significant projects, including the EV Policy, Doorstep Delivery, Installation of CCTVs, Streetlights, Health Information Management System, Rozgaar Bazaar, E-Coupon for Ration, and Covid Ambulance Management, according to CM Kejriwal.
The Chief Minister stated, "Quite frequently, we have seen ministers and officers become so preoccupied with carrying out their daily duties while leading the government that they do not find time to design new policies. To address these shortfalls, we established DDC seven years ago with the sole purpose of ideating, designing, and holding consultation on new policies to be brought by the government.
He prayed and expressed his wish that they would keep serving the nation's citizens in this way for many years to come.
