New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced on Tuesday that the Delhi government will provide drought ration to the students of its schools for the next 6 months. CM Kejriwal said that this dry ration will be given under the mid-day meal scheme. The Delhi government has taken this step in view of schools being closed since March due to Corona epidemic.

In a government school in Mandavali area, CM Kejriwal said that when the schools were closed, we used to decide to send money for the mid-day meal to the parents' account, but now it has been decided that we will give dry ration for Schools across the country were closed in March to prevent the Corona epidemic from spreading. However, from October 15, schools were partially reopened in some states. However, the Delhi government has announced that schools will not open in the country's capital until the coronavirus vaccine is received.

564 new patients of corona infection have been confirmed in Delhi on Monday. Officials said the rate of infection in Delhi is 0.98%. With the arrival of new cases, the total cases in the city have increased to 6,23,415.
