Kolkata: The assembly election schedule in West Bengal has not been announced yet, but the politics of Bengal has already warmed up. The political battle between Mamata and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the past few days in Bengal has now reached AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Now the battle of Owaisi vs Mamata in Bengal has started.
Asaduddin Owaisi has reacted sharply to Mamata Banerjee's statement today, in which Mamata accused Owaisi of taking money from the BJP for the vote cutting. Now AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has retaliated on the issue saying that Muslim voters are not Mamata's 'fiefdom'. Owaisi, MP from Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, tweeted that Mamata Banerjee does not like Muslims who think and speak for themselves.
Owaisi, dismissing the charge levelled by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader, said no one can buy them with money. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) national president Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted, "So far you have only dealt with obedient Mir Jeffers and Sadiq. You don't like Muslims who think for themselves and speak."
