Nowadays many videos are viral on social sites which are shocking. In the past, a video had become increasingly viral and something happened with the elephant in that video that the soul of the onlookers trembled. Actually, this video is related to the elephant 'Jaimlaytha' which became quite viral on social media. In this, the elephant was allegedly being tortured in a temple. After the video surfaced, the Assam government has now come into action and formed a team of forest, veterinary and police officials. All of them will go to Tamil Nadu to investigate the matter. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted about the incident.

In another tweet, the Chief Minister wrote, "Formed a 4-member team comprising forest, veterinary and police officials. The team will visit Tamil Nadu on September 2 and discuss the matter with forest department officials there, inspect the elephant and pave the way for its return to Assam.'' People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) shared a video of elephant Jaimalytha on August 26 and the video was said to be from a temple in Tamil Nadu.

In that video, the mahout was harassing Jaimalaytha badly and tweeting that video, PETA wrote, 'Hathini Jaimalayatha is being tortured continuously and this time her skin is being plucked with a Plas.' Many people including the CM of Assam were tagged in this tweet and now as a result of that action is being taken.
