The wait is going to end in a short while today. Today the results of the elections in five states (election results 2022) will come. The list includes Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur where counting of votes for the assembly elections is underway. In the Punjab assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has given a big blow to the ruling Congress. On the other hand, in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Goa, the BJP has taken the lead in the trends.

Amidst all this, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar made comments on Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Goa. In fact, recently he said, "All of us opposition parties will sit together during the upcoming Parliament session and think about what we can do in the future. Today, I have not spoken to any Congress leader. On Charanjit Channi of the Congress, he said it was his party's decision. They have the right to make any decision. At the same time, Sharad Pawar further said, "Ups and downs are part of electoral politics. In the 70s, Congress had lost almost all the elections. But now it remains to be seen what are the political reasons behind it. If the Congress leadership and workers show readiness to take to the streets to solve people's problems by strengthening the organisation, people will accept you again. Today's decision is in favour of the BJP, we should accept it.''

Apart from this, Sharad Pawar said, "It will not be appropriate for me to talk about why the Congress was defeated. Whatever decision Congress has taken in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab is their prerogative. I have not spoken to any Congress leader about it. It would not be appropriate to draw a hasty conclusion after the results are out. All of this will be considered next month. He further said, "Last time, the Congress had the numbers, but the BJP did some gimmicks and established the government. But the same situation is still visible, let's see what happens next.''
