Maharashtra: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar recently said, 'Any attempt by the BJP to topple the Maharashtra government will not succeed'. He is confident that the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition government is completely stable and will continue to govern the state. Recently, he said, 'Enforcement Directorate (ED) action against the ruling coalition and their families is an abuse of power'.

Former Union Minister Sharad Pawar said all these things in an interview on Wednesday. He said, 'It has been a year since the Thackeray-led government was formed. They tried to drop it after two months, then after six months and eight months later but nothing like this will happen. It is and will remain a stable government. ' In the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition government, the alliance of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress has completed one year in the last month itself. BJP leaders were seen saying that this government would soon fall due to ideological contradiction.

While, BJP and Shiv Sena contested and won the assembly elections together in 2019, but Thackeray broke the alliance after holding the post of Chief Minister and insisted on forming a government with the anti-ideology NCP and Congress. It is also said that Sharad Pawar united the NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena to form a coalition government.
